Sizes and starting prices

TableSizeStarts at
Seats 6About 6 ft$2,900
Seats 8 to 10About 8 ft$5,900

Your exact price depends on the size, the wood, and the river, and you'll have it before any work starts. Legs are priced separately, so you can pick anything from a steel base to wood. Delivery is included within 60 miles of SUNY Albany, which covers most of the Capital Region. The pricing guide explains what moves a price up or down.

What size do you need?

A good rule of thumb is about 2 feet of table edge per person, plus about 3 feet of open floor around the table so chairs can slide back. Send me your room's measurements and how many people you want to seat, and I'll help you pick the size.

What you choose

  • The slab. I send photos of real slabs, and you can pick the exact one your table is made from.
  • The river. You pick the color. Two colors or a special effect take longer to pour, so I quote those per table.
  • The size and shape. Every table is built to your measurements. Round tops and custom shapes are quoted per table.
  • The finish. Rubio Monocoat is one of the toughest finishes, with a natural, low-sheen look. Odie's Oil has more sheen. Polyurethane is the glossiest.
  • The legs. I'll send you options, from steel bases to wood.

Built for dinner every night

A dining table gets used every day, so that's what I build for. The slabs are kiln-dried, which takes out most of the moisture that makes wood shrink and crack. Steel channels set into the underside, across the grain, keep the top flat. The finish is matched to how you use the table. Put trivets under hot dishes and wipe it down with warm water and dish soap, and that's all the care it needs.

Every table comes with my 2-year promise: if the top cracks, warps, or the epoxy pulls away from the wood within 2 years of delivery, I'll repair it at no charge. The care guide has the details.

Questions dining-table buyers ask

How long does a dining table take?

About three months from start to delivery. The epoxy needs several days to cure at each stage, and then the top is flattened, sanded, and finished by hand.

Can I see the slab before you start?

Yes. I send photos of the actual slabs, and nothing gets cut or poured until you say yes.

Do you deliver and set it up?

Yes. I deliver every table myself and set it up in your home. Delivery is free within 60 miles of SUNY Albany. Past that, I add a delivery fee to your quote.
